Mechanical tests
Mechanical tests include a wide range of destructive tests and are divided into two categories:
- Tests that determine the mechanical properties of materials and are independent of geometry, such as tests related to the hardness of objects and parts, density, coefficient of expansion, etc.
- Tests that determine an object’s response to a stimulus, such as traction, pressure, and impact tests
These tests are aimed at determining the resistance of materials to the application of load and force and can be used to determine the parameters affecting the design and selection of materials such as strain, tensile strength, yield stress, toughness and KIC.
Naftan Payesh Corrosion and Integration Management Company offers its employers a wide range of tests related to mechanical tests:
- Hardness determination
- Tensile test
- Bending test
- Creep test
- Impact test
- Failure test
- Fatigue test
- CTOD test
